Hunter and Nory discuss Nory's beginnings in music, how he writes and records his music, stories from the development of his self-titled album 'Nory', and the impact that the artist's music has. Nory then performs 'Tell Me' and recent single 'Ashes', closing out the show debuting new music with "Earth Rhythm" from an upcoming electronic music project. Hunter hosts The African Show with co-host Zichen Yuan, a designer and graduate student at NYU ITP. Hunter and Zichen cover a wide range of African music and African cultures, kicking off with Afrobeats pioneer Fela Kuti and later moving into African dance music genres like amapiano. Zichen also shares his experience seeing the iconic Ghanaian artist Ebo Taylor live in concert in 2021. That, and so much more in this 2 hour African music special.
