Finnish artist YSI leaves a voicemail detailing his debut album Amp Head, his origins, influences, and future projects. YSI gained recognition for his soundtrack for the Givenchy Spring Summer 2024 Menswear show in June of last year and later released a genre-bending debut album called Amp Head in December. Since then, YSI has featured heavily on this show and even made it into the Best of 2023 mixtape. Artists featured include: 15 15, Nabihah Iqbal, Charlotte Day Wilson, Burial, Agamwe, Turnstile & BADBADNOTGOOD, and more!

Liam Bailey comes through with a voicemail, talking about his influences and collaborations with Leon Michels, producer and founder of Big Crown Records. This edition of Workaround celebrates the discography of Liam Bailey and the release of his latest reggae album, Zero Grace. Other artists featured include Vegyn, Chronixx, Jimi Hendrix, Lee "Scratch" Perry, and El Michels Affair.

In this edition of Workaround, Hunter explores throwback dance tracks from around the world. The show covers music from Ethiopia, Brazil, Nigeria, South Africa, the US, and the UK. Plus, Hunter shares a selection of new tracks from Vegyn, serpentwithfeet, Mount Kimbie, T. Williams, and more!

Hunter Wolff hosts NYC based artist, rapper, and producer Nory in the WKCR studio for an interview and live performance. Hunter and Nory discuss Nory's beginnings in music, how he writes and records his music, stories from the development of his self-titled album 'Nory', and the impact that the artist's music has. Nory then performs 'Tell Me' and recent single 'Ashes', closing out the show debuting new music with "Earth Rhythm" from an upcoming electronic music project. Additional artists featured include: Knucks, Westside Gunn, Mansur Brown, Pink Siifu, Dean Blunt, Skiifall, and more.


Hunter hosts The African Show with co-host Zichen Yuan, a designer and graduate student at NYU ITP. Hunter and Zichen cover a wide range of African music and African cultures, kicking off with Afrobeats pioneer Fela Kuti and later moving into African dance music genres like amapiano. Zichen also shares his experience seeing the iconic Ghanaian artist Ebo Taylor live in concert in 2021. That, and so much more in this 2 hour African music special. Artists featured include: Akofa Akoussah, Kokoroko, Hagan, Midnight Ravers, Major League DJz, Wizkid, Afefe Iku, and many more.


All R&B. All female artists. Hunter looks back to some of the best female contributions to R&B in the 1980s and 1990s, featuring artists Lauryn Hill, Erykah Badu, and Sade. A Frank Ocean cover of Aaliyah's "At Your Best" opens the mix and up and coming R&B singer Liv.e closes it out with "You The One Fish In The Sea". Later in the show, Hunter welcomes designer Ben Vassar into the studio for his guest selections.


Hunter is back on air in 2023, starting off the new year with an ambient mix featuring meditative jazz and electronic sounds. Artists featured in the show include: Makaya McCraven, Sault, Arca, BADBADNOTGOOD, Duval Timothy, Sampha, and more.


Hunter recaps his favorite tracks of the year with a Best of 2022 Mix. Artists featured include Lil Silva, Kendrick Lamar, Pusha T, FKJ, Wizkid, and more. The show concludes with a special track that Hunter and producer Arif Fusilier collaborated on for a fashion film for Hunter's clothing collection, Nothing, which released in August of this year. Desolate Ceremony by Reef closes out 2022.


Hunter Wolff is joined in the studio by NYC based DJ and designer, Coquetta, for a guest mix and dance music special. Coquetta talks about how she got her start DJing, how she implements sound into her architectural designs, and her jewelry brand Ochoa, which makes rings out of bio-resin and micro-plastics.
